Work package 3 of Youth4GreenPolicy brought the partnership back together in June 2026 for a transnational training on the SDGs Intelligence Cards, and gamingHOUSE was there.
The cards are a facilitation tool rather than a teaching aid. Each one puts a Sustainable Development Goal into a concrete local situation and asks a group to take a position, defend it, and then find the trade-off hiding underneath. For a youth organisation that already works through play, this is familiar ground. A card game gives young people permission to disagree in a way a lecture never does.
The training was designed around what came out of the EcoVoices Digital Cafes in May. The barriers young people named in those sessions, across all fifteen countries, decided which situations ended up on the cards.
What partners took home is the method itself, so that each organisation can run the cards locally, in its own language, with its own young people.
