On 31 July 2026, twelve young people met at Tyrševa 15 in Maribor for the Youth4GreenPolicy local follow-up workshop, SDGs Intelligence Cards in Action. Organised by GamingHouse, the workshop brought the card-based method from the June international training into a local setting.
Working in small groups, participants chose a Sustainable Development Goal, examined a concrete problem through its social, economic and environmental dimensions, and developed possible responses. The cards gave the group a clear starting point for discussion while leaving room to question assumptions, compare priorities and explain their choices.
The session showed how global goals become easier to understand when they are connected to situations young people recognise from everyday life. Their notes and presentations turned broad sustainability themes into local questions they could debate and act on.
